First Day of Preschool!!

Good Morning sweet girl!!

"6:45 am is way to early to eat breakfast, but I'm still a happy girl!"

All ready for my big day!

My big girl with her bookbag.
We have been practicing with our bookbag for many weeks now!

"Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho, it's off to school we go!!"
Today was a big morning at the Lowery house! We woke Anne Wells up at 6:30 and bless her heart, she just popped right up with a big smile on her face! Oh, how I wish I could wake up like that each morning. Anne Wells and I headed out for our first day at Children's Learning Center. Lewis met us there to meet her teachers and see her classroom. She was so excited to play in her room and be the only one there for the first little bit. We said bye to Daddy and off I went to get ready for my 3 year olds.
About an hour later, I heard a very familiar cry coming very next door. :( Of course I wanted to run in there and pick her up, but I knew I couldn't! There was another little girl in there who was very upset most of the morning and that made Anne Wells get very upset too.
She doesn't like when her friends cry. She got upset a few different times, but they said she enjoyed snack and lunchtime the most!:) She was a happy girl when I walked in to get her. She kept hugging my neck over and over again...tears! I know that each day will get better and she will get used to it! She was so exhausted, she fell asleep right after we got in the car and thankfully went right back down when we got home.
We are excited about Day #2 of preschool and hope there will be less tears for everyone!
