Well, one of my first duties of being a dad will be to "blog". I will try to feel the shoes of Mom as she rests...
Anne Wells Lowery arrived into the world last night at 10:59pm. She weighed 6lbs 2oz and is 18 inches long. She is perfect in every way. She looks just like Libba (that's a good thing!!). The little bit of hair that she has is curly and blond. The Pediatrician came by this morning and told us that Anne Wells was doing great and is perfectly healthy.
Libba is doing well too. She is on a drug called Magnesium Sulfate that helps with her Preeclampsia. She says it makes her feel "groggy" so she is excited to get off of it, hopefully this afternoon. If her blood work comes back normal today, they will move her from labor and delivery up to Mother/Baby. She was really tired after being in labor since Monday. I could not be prouder of how Libba did all week. She delivered Anne Wells like she had done it many times before. We hope to be home by Friday.
Libba and I cannot thank all of you enough for all of the prayers that you prayed for us. We could truly feel the power of prayer and that gave us a really good peace that everything was going to be just fine.

Anne Wells is absolutely gorgeous! We are so glad that she's here and that all is well. Libba, we are so proud of you and know how tough this was.
